The Massachusetts Fallen Firefighters Memorial was dedicated on September 11th, 2007 at the State House in Boston.

The Boston Fire Department Color Guard leads the procession to the Memorial.

The Boston Gaelic Fire Brigade leads the dozens of pipers and drummers.

Hundreds of firefighters from all over the Commonwealth of Massachusetts stand at attention and salute the colors during the singing of the National Anthem.

The bell, which has long been a symbol and part of the fire service has its place at the Memorial.

The Memorial Board of Directors unveil the sculpture.

Individual bricks are engraved with the names of 21 members of the Somerville Fire Department who have died in the line of duty.

The Firefighters Prayer is another important part of the Memorial.
